Price point is definitely an advantage over its competitors with value prices for veggies, bread, jam, fruits, yoghurt, meat and a nice range of frozen foods and salads; also has a decent selection of wine and beers but hardly any english labels on the products which could be beneficial for non dutch customers. Very limited options for non food items like glasses, shoes, etc..
The shopping carts are unnecessarily too big for in-store movement and the staff is not very forthcoming. Billing can be a bit of an issue at times as lesser number of counters operate at any given point in time.
Affordabilty at a good quality is what you get here and you can't complaint much. Price wise it would be perhaps one of the best in Netherlands but shopping experience wise it can do better - Lidl management can look into that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Budget friendly supermarket, not cutting corners on quality. Veggies, meat, bread, etc all decent quality. Has the occasional A brand in store as well. For a pleasant shopping experience, stick to the odd hours late prior to closing or at diner time.
