β β β β β Good supermarket although the Lidl in England has larger variety of meat. In emmeloord a lot of pork hardly any lamb or larger pieces of meat like gammon or rollades. Not as cheap as I expected it to be in comparison with the U.K.

β β β β β Is it an insult or Discrimination ???
Since jan 2018 I go for shopping in Lidle Emmeloord, but it is the 2ndΒ time they are asking me for checking my bags by cashiers (means things I bought from other stores).
1st time was some 3 months ago which I think the cashier was Netherlander and she asked me very much politely for checking the bags and I also appreciated,
but yesterday 12-06-2019 the cashier which mostly in counter number 1stΒ and she her self is a foreigner (buitenlander) which the way of her asking to check the bags was like she captured the thief, means her behavior was too much Offensive, and before also many times I noticed that she do not have good behaviors, specially with refugees.
So It is fine, It is okβ¦. I appreciated, it might be their duty or rules to check the bags, but the question is why they do this?
Is it because if somebody stolen something from their shops? Then they are not opening the bags and not checking inside, just to stand and look to your bags or asking to show me what is that, but if you tell her to check inside they avoid. (Insult)
mostly they are checking for the refugees, so the responsible person can check the security cameras which only the refugees can be targeted. (Discrimination)
in mine point of view the customers should feel comfortableness in your shop, you can apply your rules the same as the customers shouldnβt be/feel insulted or discriminated,
like you can do all your checking via security cameras and security doors or not allowing the extra bags inside, instead making a location to keep the extra bags and submit to customers at the end of thier shopping⦠or many other ways.
or if you still agree with current procedures then kindly do your checking the bags for all the customers dutch and refugees to avoid the mentioned points, meanwhile you can write about it in a paper and hang it on entry door containing that the extra bags will be checked in counters and then you can check for all the customers, because even if a Netherlanders see the customers before him/her which their bags not checked then he/she will be aggressive and feel like insulted or discriminated.
Hope anyone not mind my words.
Best of Luck
