De nieuwe wereld
Vanaf 2001 was de wens er om Linssen Roses buiten de Nederlandse grenzen verder uit te breiden. Het Flower Business Park in Naivasha, Kenia werd daarmee onze eerste kweek-locatie in het buitenland. Niet lang daarna mochten we in het plaatsje Addis Alem de eerste Nederlandse rozenkwekerij in Ethiopië opzetten. De letterlijke vertaling van Addis Alem, namelijk ‘nieuwe wereld’, was voor ons heel toepasselijk en bijzonder.
Het bedrijf in Kenia verkochten we in 2008 en vanaf 2010 werd de productie in Nederland geleidelijk afgebouwd. Sinds 2013 telen we enkel nog rozen in Ethiopië. De kwekerij aldaar is door de jaren heen flink uitgebreid en beslaat momenteel 65 hectare.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top. Ich kaufe seit Jahren Blumen von Linssen. Ich bin immer froh, wenn ich sie im Supermarkt bekommen kann. Die lilafarbenen liebe ich ganz besonders. Dafür fahre ich immer zu einem Händler, der 10 km entfernt ist. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Rosen halten auch immer lange. Weiter so!
Top. I've been buying flowers from Linssen for years. I am always happy when I can get them in the supermarket. I especially love the purple ones. For this I always drive to a dealer who is 10 km away. Very good value for money. The roses always last a long time. Keep it up!
