★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Als selectieve vleeseter kies ik soms Livar. De enige reden dat ik 4 ipv 5 sterren geef is dat de kwaliteit erg wisselt. Natuurlijk begrijp ik dat het een product is dat afhankelijk is van veel factoren maar ik heb nu een aantal keren meegemaakt dat spek soms fantastisch is en de volgende keer zo enorm naar mest geurt tijdens het bakken en op je bord dat het niet meer smaakt. De leverworst was de eerste keer prima, de tweede keer zaten er meer grote klonten vet in dan iets anders. Vandaar geen 5 sterren.
As a selective carnivore, I sometimes choose Livar. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is that the quality varies a lot. Of course I understand that it is a product that depends on many factors but I have now seen a number of times that bacon is sometimes fantastic and the next time smells so much like manure during cooking and on your plate that it no longer tastes. The liverwurst was fine the first time, the second time it had more large lumps of fat in it than anything else. Hence no 5 stars.
