★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waterfall is a bit disappointing. Maybe because there wasn't that much water running down from it. The location and nature surrounding it, is beautiful though. Great for a walk or bike ride. Or take a picnic basket for a nice lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's okay, fun for children for a while. A beautiful forest surrounds it, as a Hindu ashram too. You can definitely plan a good day around this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely, man-made waterfall that has been there for over a hundred years I think. It has a large forest area around it great for recreational purposes like mountainbiking, hiking and exploring!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to take kid's to have outdoor fun. Take wellington boots so they can walk in the stream or through the water of the waterfall.
OK its more a water slides down a slope than a waterfall, but still nice.
The surrounding woods are quite extensive, and the steam train also has its ending there before returning to apeldoorn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Totally not what you think when you hear the word waterfalls. It is man-made and are more like rapids then waterfalls but sound off the water in the distance is nice to hear.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The enviroment is beautiful. But the waterfall, its another story. Its completely man-made, dirty, and just filled with people. It also doesn't look as impressive as the biggest waterfall of The Netherlands should. Not what I have expected. It is fun for kids tho.
So, I would still recommend you visiting this place. Just because of the beautiful surroundings (mostly nature) around it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to the waterfalls in Iguazú (Brazil) and Kaiteur (Guyana). Not disappointed. Kids were playing around with the stream and families were having a good time having a stroll around the forest. Come for the waterfalls, but don't stick to it.
