Breathtaking view of the bridge! Preferably going there during sunset or at night, it's beautiful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bijzondere plek waar ik vaak langs ben gereden zonder het gezien te hebben. Gedenkteken i.v.m. deportatie van joden in 1942 en 1943, waaronder bijna 700 kinderen tussen de 1 maand en 12 jaar! Bijna alle namen en leeftijden zijn vermeld op platen... sta even stil, het is aangrijpend maar zeker de moeite waard!
Special place that I often drove past without seeing it. Memorial i.v.m. deportation of Jews in 1942 and 1943, including nearly 700 children between 1 month and 12 years old! Almost all names and ages are listed on plates ... just pause, it is poignant but well worth it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Onverwachte locatie voor een herdenkingsmonument. Goed dat het er is, we hebben allemaal een herinnering nodig dat wanneer we gaan generaliseren mensen kunnen gaan behandelen als beesten.
Unexpected location for a memorial. Good thing it's there, we all need a reminder that when we generalize people can start treating people like animals.
