β β β β β In 1999 is deze grot opnieuw opgebouwd door vrijwilligers uit Mariahout. De grot staat op de plek waar in 1935 een kopie van de Lourdesgrot in de Franse PyreneeΓ«n gemaakt is. Tot eind jaren '60 vinden hier processies plaats. Tegenwoordig wordt de grot onderhouden door vrijwilligers en is iedereen welkom om een kaarsje op te steken of iets in het gedachtenis boek te schrijven.
 This cave was rebuilt in 1999 by volunteers from Mariahout. The cave stands on the spot where a copy of the Lourdes grotto was made in the French Pyrenees in 1935. Processions take place here until the late 1960s. Today, the cave is maintained by volunteers and everyone is welcome to light a candle or write something in the memorial book.

Interesting place to see, it is worth taking a walk through the small park behind the grotto and the church. I recommend.

β β β β β Ik vindt het er zeer mooi en goed uit zien ben er een aantal keer naar toe gereden met mn moeder die vindt dat ook ff fijn om te komen en om natuurlijk ook een kaarsje aan te steken

β β β β β Ik had nog nooit van de lourdesgrot in Mariahout gehoord, maar het ziet er precies zo uit als in Lourdes. Mooie Mariaplaats om een kaarsje op te steken.
Deze bezienswaardigheid was een stop bij de autospeurtocht die wij hebben gereden tussen Gemert, Mariahout, Nuenen en Aarle rixtel. De geesten van de peelroute.
