Dichtbij de Noordzee en in samenwerking met gerenommeerde visleveranciers, kunnen wij u een grote verscheidenheid van de beste Noordzee vis, schaal- en schelpdieren en oesters aanbieden. Wij werken met de seizoenen mee en hechten aan duurzaamheid. Ons keukenteam, aangevoerd door chef Rienk Vrij, heeft oprechte passie voor vis en kiest elke dag, met deskundig oog, de beste producten uit. Wij voeren een ongecompliceerd, klassiek menu, dat niettemin een aantal moderne culinaire verassingen bevat. Belangrijk is dat de natuurlijke puurheid van de vis optimaal tot zijn recht komt. Vergezeld van onze uitgebalanceerde cocktail-, wijn -en drankenkaart, zijn alle ingrediënten voor een memorabel diner aanwezig.

Spent our Christmas dinner with Lucius. Absolutely right choice.
Lucius is definitely one of the best Dutch and local restaurant. I brought my Dutch boyfriend here and he was amazed.
The cold starter was nice but if you have tried something like this,then you can skip it.
The fish ( the 3 young soles) is beyond expectation, so fresh, tasty and well done.
We also tried local wine here from Maastricht, very good!
If you are a tourist, then you have to try here!!! And buy a bottle of wine to take home.
Their menu changes very three months I think.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oysters are probably the best I have ever had. We can easily identity the differences in taste and texture among different species as we ordered the assorted platter. Impeccably fresh and delicious. On the other hand, the razor clams are too salty and the clams herein is barely visible (as it shrunk from being overcooked). The pasta was not enticing (bland is the word) as we needed to add a handful of salt and pepper to spice up the dish. Make sure the oyster is included in your meal as this is what you come to this restaurant for.

The seafood grill I had was very tasty. The sampler appetizer (for 2 ppl to share) was ok, nothing interesting. Price to quality is reasonable.
Unfortunately the desert options were very limited and not interesting.
The ambiance is nice and cozy.

The restaurant is not about a fabulous view or something else it’s directly about food and taste, don’t forget to book your table and of course not a cheep place but it worth it. There are no parking and WiFi here. Friendly staff
