H	Hans Vonk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heel gezellig. Leuke gastheer en -vrouw. Els maakt heerlijke taarten, bladerdeeg hapjes en andere verrukkelijke dingen. Een aanrader, ook voor groepen. Very cosy. Nice host. Els makes delicious cakes, puff pastry snacks and other delicious things. Highly recommended, also for groups.

C	Choco Checkers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een leuk knus tentje, geschoeid op de Engelse leest. Het concept was Engels, of de dames Engeland ook leuk vinden is bij mij niet bekend. We zaten binnen en konden zo het interieur nauwkeuring bekijken. Stoelen in twee verschillende kleuren stonden op een houten vloer en overal hingen of stonden Engelse attributen, begeleid van klassieke muziek. Erg rustgevend. De cappuccino werd gemaakt en voorzien van vers (!!) opgeklopte melk. Men had een open keuken, waarin je een blik kon werpen. In deze keuken werden de taarten en cake met de hand gemaakt. . Doordat het merendeels handwerk is, kan het zijn dat je iets langer moet wachten. Al met al een zalige rust, als je net uit de parkeergarage aan de Beestenmarkt stapt. Update 28-2-2018 Een ijzig koude Oostelijke wind, blies ons zo dit tentje in. Of zou het zijn dat ik na een half jaar de Engelse scones eens wilde proberen ? Laten we zeggen dat het om beide redenen was. Ik kreeg een klein stukje witte chocolade cheesecake aangeboden en ik mag vertellen, de cheesecake was FE-NO-MI-NAAL lekker. Nu ben ik niet zo'n fan van witte choco, maar dit was echt lekker. Goed gedaan. Qua smaak zit het wel snor, daar heb ik al over geschreven. Even wat (zakelijke) tips: +Je loopt er zo aan voorbij. De zaak valt niet op, ook niet door het (rommelige) bord wat buiten staat, die in het verlengde staat van een bord van een andere zaak. Laat je zaak meer opvallen, bv. door van wimpelsockels of iets dergelijks. House Made moet groot.. Een eigen concept ge-ent op lekker eten, met zorg gemaakt. +Verander niet iets wat goed is. Hou de witte choco cheesecake in het assortiment. Doe iets anders erbij. Reden is, dat ik naar jullie zou gaan, alleen al voor deze cake ! Dit spreekt zich rond. A nice cozy place, based on the English last. The concept was English, I don't know if the ladies like England. We sat inside and were able to view the interior closely. Chairs in two different colors stood on a wooden floor and everywhere English attributes hung or stood, accompanied by classical music. Very soothing. The cappuccino was made and provided with fresh (!!) whipped milk. There was an open kitchen in which you could take a look. In this kitchen, the cakes and cake were made by hand. . Because it is mostly manual work, you may have to wait a little longer. All in all a blissful rest, if you just step out of the parking garage at the Beestenmarkt. * Update 28-2-2018 * An icy cold Eastern wind blew us into this tent. Or would it be that after half a year I wanted to try the English scones? Let's say it was for both reasons. I was offered a small piece of white chocolate cheesecake and I can tell you, the cheesecake was FE-NO-MI-NAAL tasty. Now I'm not a big fan of white chocolate, but this was really tasty. Well done. In terms of taste it is mustache, I have already written about that. Some (business) tips: + You will pass it by. The case is not noticeable, not even because of the (messy) sign that is outside, which is an extension of a sign of another matter. Make your business stand out more, for example by using pennant sockels or something similar. House Made must be big .. An own concept based on good food, made with care. + Don't change something that's good. Keep the white chocolate cheesecake in the range. Add something else. Reason is that I would go to you for this cake alone! This speaks for itself.

Lang gezocht en nergens te vinden nu de heerlijkste Japanse Cheesecake gevonden. Wat hebben wij genoten. Dank je wel Els en tot snel. In addition to the delicious High tea and great lunch, now also a big surprise..... We are so happy!!! Long sought and nowhere to be found, now the most delicious Japanese Cheesecake has been found. There was a staff shortage as we had to wait some time to be served and we had to order several times as the waiter kept forgetting the order. We never received our second drink but it did not ruin our visit.
