D	Dinja vd Broek on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Via een fietsroute langsgekomen en toch even stil gestaan. Mooie herdenking. Het is wel erg bijzonder dat zo'n oude tank zomaar midden in Ede staat. Je kan hem gewoon aanraken! Came along via a bicycle route and stood still for a moment. Nice memorial. It is very special that such an old tank is just in the middle of Ede. You can just touch it!

G	Geert Smulders-Dinh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In en rondom Ede werd veel gevochten tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Logisch datt er hercen der nig tastbare herinneringen staan. Letterlijk tastbaar. Nu leven we in een tijd dat er geen oorlog is, maar honderd procent verdraagzaam naar elkaar zijn we nig steeds niet helemaal. Hopelijk kunnen mijn kleinkinderen opgroeien in een verdraagzame wereld, zoals ik in een Nederland zonder oorlog kon opgroeien. There was much fighting in and around Ede during the Second World War. It is logical that there are still some tangible memories. Literally tangible. Now we live in a time when there is no war, but we are still not 100 percent tolerant of each other. Hopefully my grandchildren can grow up in a tolerant world, as I could grow up in a Netherlands without war.
