★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vanuit het Maartensdijkse bos kun je alle kanten op. Westelijk ervan vind je Goois natuurreservaat De Zuid. Aan de noordoostelijke zijde tref je het Cronebos. En aan de oostzijde vind je Landgoed Eyckenstein. De vorstelijke lanen van het maartensdijkse bos zijn gemakkelijk begaanbaar, ook voor de ongeoefende wandelaar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtig stuk bos dat start vanaf de Hilversumse golfbanen en dan circa 3KM doorloopt in Noordelijke richting. Hoe noordelijker je komt hoe rustiger het wordt.
Het is soms wel wat lastig te zien of je nou in het Goois Natuurreservaat, landgoed Eyckenstein, Smithuyserbos of het Maartensdijkse bos loopt doordat het wat versnipperd verdeeld is, maar alles bij elkaar is het een flink groot stuk om te wandelen of de fietsen door de natuur.
Beautiful piece of forest that starts from the Hilversum golf courses and then continues approximately 3KM in a northerly direction. The further north you come, the quieter it gets.
It is sometimes a bit difficult to see whether you are walking in the Goois Nature Reserve, the Eyckenstein estate, Smithuyserbos or the Maartensdijkse bos because it is somewhat fragmented, but all in all it is a large part for walking or cycling through the nature.
