โ โ โ โ โ Excellent. We rented bikes here, its very close to the Double Tree. Very accommodating & the one gentlemen (reminded me of Phil Collins) could not have been any more helpful with directions and instructions. We took the bikes on the ferry to Nord. This was one our best things we did in Amsterdam.

โ โ โ โ โ They require too much just for renting a bike. I had a driver's licence and they wouldn't take it as an ID, they wanted a credit card or passport. I mean, really? Passport, and credit/debit cards are 2 most important to a traveller, are their bikes gold or something.
There's much better rental places and easier too :)

โ โ โ โ โ Rude and unfriendly People. Never experienced something like that before as a Customer. We felt unwelcome in the Moment we entered the shop. At the question if a 26h rental is equal to a two day rental or if another price could occur a strange discussion began. It ended in a way we stopped the discussion and went to the competition (King bike). All good there. Macbike instead lost two customers they will never see again. Apart from that, we had a great time in Amsterdam - bike rental is definitely the right way to explore this fantastic city.

โ โ โ โ โ My wife and I rented two touring bikes from MacBike for five days. Communication was straightforward, MacBike was flexible with our times, they stored our luggage while we were away and were very helpful. The bikes worked out great. We would rent from them again. Thanks.

โ โ โ โ โ Staff was super friendly and it was easy to get a couple bikes for the day. The locks were easy to use and the bikes rode just fine for the price. I would go back if I needed a bike in Amsterdam, and in general thatโs a great way to get around the city. They didnโt count the last hour or so that I was renting, which put me in a lower pay bracket, so that was nice of them.

โ โ โ โ โ Had to fix my bike urgently as it broke down on my way to work. The mechanic was very friendly and passionate about his job. He explained why the bike broke and the options I had, and then fixed it within an hour. It was a bit on the expensive side, but since it is in the centre that's explainable.
