★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As many people wrote: awful service. They give you weird looks and forget about coming back to get your order until you call them (nearly empty room). We did want to order some food around 6 but they told us they ran out of all the things we ordered. At 6pm on a saturday night??? While everybody else was getting their food on their table? They quite obviously wanted us to leave for some reason. Too bad because the food looked good. We only had a cup of tea (cheap gwoon tea bags and sugar from albert heijn). Never again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I felt like I do something wrong because I asked for takeaway baklava. The baklava was packaged in a not good way and they gave it to me like I begged for it without money!
I thought I did something wrong which was obviously not, but when I read the comments here, I knew that what happened was noty problem or the only problem. Unfortunately when I saw the palace, I was so encouraged but the feeling I had there was very humiliating

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place looks great, the food is great, but the coffee is overpriced.
Just a heads-up, not all the waiters can speak fluent Dutch or Englsih and they take their time providing you with any service. Definately room for improvement but food is really excellent especially the price.
The manti/dumplings were very filling and tasty for 8 euro's. Top notch! But it a downer that you pay nearly half that amount (3,70 euro) for a latte that is nothing special. The foam passed to spoon test but overall not worth the money.
The lentil soup was just as tasty.
Mado is a place where you eat cheap, quality food after long travel/visit. It is better quality than what the stores in and around the station of The Hague have to offer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to love coming to this place with large groups - their a la carte breakfasts were so good. When we went breakfast was an open buffet, with less selection than the a la carte for standard Turkish breakfast food, and all the hot food (menemen) was cold.
No more sit down Turkish breakfast table experience. Really disappointed and will not return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The idea or concept behind this restaurant is promising. Clean place to eat and changes are being made to the interior. The food tastes great too. Taste of Turkey but can't be compared to the real taste of a Turkish cuisine.
Always room for improvement and the staff are quite helpful.
P.S. Fix the heating system. I almost caught a cold in the restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place compensates the good food with bad service. People are never friendly and they are always too slow. When you order something extra (e.g. An extra drink) you always have to ask for it again and wait forever. We have had only breakfasts here which all were quite good. The desserts though, despite the beautiful look, do not taste as great. The big sini breakfast is nice to share with 3+ people. Recently, the quality of the food has dropped significantly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food and not too expensive!
Service could be better. Maybe put some signs next to the ice cream and baklava so people can see what it is?
