β β β β β Stepped in spontaneously for dinner, but the menu wasn't that appealing. Small and boring menu for dinner. Good wines, but you need a good dish with it...
So we only took the scorppino. It was freshly made, but the mix was off. It was too sour.
The place looks nice and they try to compete with all other locations in Amersfoort, but fail due to lack of inspiration.

β β β β β Found this restaurant as a recommendation from my Hotel staff. Madonna is situated in the pretty old town of Amersfoort and easy to find.
I would recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment. My visit was on a Monday evening and was 50% full when I arrived at 7:45 and full by the time I left.
Decor, lighting and ambiance is really nice with friendly staff who helped me with food recommendations.
I would definitely be visiting again on my next trip to Amersfoort.

β β β β β Nice, clean, cool...a come back every year but today i enter and ask to sit outside but lady waiter told me that is to cold for for her to serve outside. Nice and posh but catering quality is terible. Like in all holland but if they are not so good they must put a little affort. Sad for tourism...it is time for education...go to italy or croatia and see how is done.

β β β β β A great place for dining lunch or a nice cup of coffee. Located in the heart of amersfoort, beautiful restored like the wooden beams. Doesn't matter if you're alone, together or celebrating with a bunch of friends. We had a dinner with chicken, beef burger and a fantastic lemon meringue dessert! Just go and find out yourself!
