β β β β β We really expected something really good for what we paid and we queued for a while when we had to check-in, the worker didn't really know which room we were exactly and, in the room we got, there were water leakings from the sauna...
Luckily, the breakfast and the views from the room were good. However, I don't recommend it.

β β β β β Good location, but the hotel is a bit old and would benefit from some refurbishment. The quality of the service was very average - throughout the stay. They are part of the Marriott Bonvoy program, which should normally be synonymous of good quality, but in that hotel there was a number of shortfalls.

β β β β β I have stayed for 2 days. It was good experience for me. Hotel was clean and Personel was kind. Also The elevator view was better than my room view :)

β β β β β We had a reservation for the day after storm Eunice and, unfortunately, the trains between Amsterdam and Rotterdam kept being postponed, so we couldn't make it.
We called the hotel only to hear that their cancellation policy required us to cancel 24h before and that the full value of 275eu was going to be charged since the storm had already passed.
After an email, they offered a discount on a future stay, but I still don't recommend doing business with them.

β β β β β The sauna is much too small and does not work. After we told, the so-called hotel director was very unfriendly. We wanted to leave the hotel the next day because we felt very uncomfortable. However, the gentleman remained very uncooperative. We will certainly not come again... too bad!

β β β β β Itβs a sad state of affairs when a 5* hotel has so many shortcomings. The only super positive is the view if you get a port room. However, they are woefully understaffed with queues almost at all times and rarely a concierge in view. The staff is of varying degrees of politeness and professionalism - from the rude and abysmally uncaring to the sweet and sort of helpful. They never made us feel welcome despite the fact that weβve already stayed with them four times. We lost our suitcase on our way from the airport and asked for their help to trace it via lost and found and their initial reaction was βok what do you want me to doβ. Our vaccination records were never checked. We booked some dinner and a nice room, saying that it was our anniversary. Our dinner reservation was nowhere to be found and there wasnβt even a little welcome note in the room on behalf of the management to wish us happy anniversary. Am I asking much? Not from a 5* hotel. They sadly lack the extra (human!) touch.

β β β β β The room is okay, the private sauna was amazing. Regarding the staff it takes a little bit more training for a 5 star hotel. Saying things like "no" or "i don't know" is not acceptable. The food was mediocre for the price that you are paying. Wanted to surprise my bf but a room with sauna and jacuzzi is not 5 star!!!! Also the roomservice breakfast i cannot choose my own breakfast but you do charge a fee for it? Disappointing. I had expectations for 5 star hotel/service and this is not. It is a NO for me

β β β β β Itβs definitely not 5 stars worth of quality. Weβve stayed multiple times at this place because of the gorgeous rooms and jacuzzi with a view. Thatβs literally all that it is though, because this hotel has some real problems for its price.
The staff is unhelpful, everything takes way too long - from check in, to ordering room service, to checking out. The food is mediocre, at best, but very expensive. Valet, which is advertised on the website, is non existent. Youβre gonna have to park your own car in a narrow parking space. And then finally, I got billed for stuff from the mini bar, that I didnβt even use. To get that cleared up when youβre in a hurry really stressed us out, so thatβs how weβll remember our stay. Stressful.
Im recommending a different hotel from now on.
