★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De winkelketen is opgezet in 1998 door de voormalige eigenaar van het bedrijf "Elektromis", Mariusz Świtalski, die eerder de distributieketen "Eurocash" alsmede de winkelketen Biedronka heeft opgezet. De winkels zijn elke dag geopend vanaf 6:00 tot 23:00. De winkels bevinden zich in steden met meer dan 5000 inwoners, een uitzondering daarop is Łeba (een stad in Polen met iets minder dan 4000 inwoners). De winst van deze winkelketen in het jaar 2005 bedroeg 6 miljoen złoty (1,5 miljoen euro).[1]
In mei 2007 heeft Mariusz Świtalski de winkelketen "Żabka" verkocht aan de Tsjechische investeerder, "Penta Investments". Op 30 mei 2008 kwam het tot de fusie van twee "NV's": Żabka Polska SA en Anura SA (SA is de Poolse variant op een Nederlandse NV) die fuseerden in Żabka Polska SA ook al was het overgenomen door Anura SA.
 The retail chain was set up in 1998 by the former owner of the company "Elektromis", Mariusz Świtalski, who previously set up the distribution chain "Eurocash" as well as the retail chain Biedronka . The shops are open every day from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm. The shops are located in cities with more than 5000 inhabitants, with the exception of eba (a city in Poland with just under 4000 inhabitants). The profit of this retail chain in the year 2005 amounted to 6 million złoty (1.5 million euros).[1]
In May 2007 Mariusz Świtalski sold the retail chain "Żabka" to the Czech investor, "Penta Investments". On May 30, 2008, two "NVs" merged: Żabka Polska SA and Anura SA (SA is the Polish variant of a Dutch NV) which merged into Żabka Polska SA even though it was acquired by Anura SA.

If he transports the same food from Poland to the Czech Republic, then it cannot be eaten. They import horrible products to us. No trust anymore !!!
