β β β β β This place is great for tourists who want a quick bite, price is ok and I don't expect quality service . I live locally and a few times this place has disappointed me. Once they forget to put in the extra bits I paid for, which I only found out when I got home, another time I got a piece of cold untoasted pita bread with cold falafel which was probably left over from previous orders, again I only found out I got a cold lunch when I got home. I even left a tip. I won't be going back again.

β β β β β This is the place where the best answer to the question of whether to go to the same food place every day during my 3 days in Amsterdam is βYesβ! Their falafels are delicious! There are many kinds of sauces available, there are too many salad varieties to put in the falafel! There are unlimited choices! And the price is quite affordable. For example, the meal deal option that I ate almost every day (even on the plane) was only 9.95 euros, even though it included potato chips, galafel and a drink.
Apart from that, the employees were very caring and respectful people. For example, since I couldn't make a package, they helped me and made it ready to take me to the plane.
All in all, a must visit place!

β β β β β Great DIY vegan sandwiches. You need to pay and wait for the staff to grill the bread for you then start stack up your own filling. The que is a bit confusing. I would recommend put up a sign where you should start building your sandwich because the sauce need to go in first for more tasty and flavorful results!

β β β β β I could eat at Maoz all day every day! The pita breads seem to have gotten a bit smaller but with the open salad bar it just meant an extra trip to make sure I got to taste all the delicious options before finally wolfing down the falafels.

β β β β β Service was not existent, staff just don't care, and the falafel was under seasoned, missing key flavours, and was sub par at best. The open salad system doesn't work either, and they failed to serve chips at the same time as the falafel in a meal purchase, so you have to wait 10+ minutes for them to forget your order exists after you've been given half your meal. Also: if you buy a drink, pick it up yourself, but not all the drinks are vegan, in a vegan fast food place. I guess people forget to look at the contents of some of those fizzy drinks. You also need to be proactive with the drink picking up part... If the staff made an effort, and fixed their falafel mix to be "falafel" not some flavourless hybrid, then it could be 3/5. KLM flights offer better falafel.

β β β β β Love Maoz as a vegan. Great that you can select your own veggies, just need to wait for your falafel and pita bread from the staff. They have amazing sauce options too!!!
