β β β β β I had to use their service 4 times because they are the closest bike repair (!) shop. Each time they try to fix my bike they break some other part. They donβt even apologize for their mistakes, never take responsibility of them and even charge you. Not recommended.

β β β β β Came to this shop not for the first time. The staff was always really helpful and friendly. When my bike first broke, it was fixed really quickly and the pricing was really reasonable compared to other bike shops. I had problems with my chain and today I visited them again, my bike was back in shape in 3 minutes. Great guys repairing the bikes with a wonderfully nice lady in front.

β β β β β Got a bike here last month, had a great experience here. They were really helpful and kind to me, kept the bike for me until I returned the following day and helped me set up the locks and bike insurance. Told me to return if I needed any further help. Bike is great quality and was a great price, everyone keeps compliment it :)

β β β β β Was there because my back brake wasnβt working properly. I was thinking it was the breaking cable. That was what he changed and now everything works fine. Very happy with the service. Friendly and fast. Although it seemed like a busy day I could take my bike 2h later.

β β β β β I had an ebike and wanted to find out why my brakes scream when I use them. The cashier woman (who is also ownersβ wife) didnβt listen to my assumptions or my thoughts about the problem. She left the bike to her husband and said sheβll call.
After half hour, she calls and says the bike is done. What the guy did - was simply changing break pads on my disk breaks. And he was asking 60 euros for that. For 2 stupid break pads. He also said that the bike is good now, but turned out that it wasnβt - and the bike brakes started screaming again after two weeks.
Conclusion - donβt go to this bike shop, you wonβt get any proper service and youβll be ripped. Itβs a very busy place, no one cares about your bike. Better find some local repair shop or a good mechanic friend. As you can see, I didnβt, so I had to pay 60 euros for two break pads that I couldβve bought for 2 euros from AliExpress and installed myself.

I rather walk then every where then have my take my bike here.
The Owner told me to get lost with my bike since he could not fix a simple thing. Told him to calm down and he started to yell at me and my wife.

β β β β β Have never written a review before but have to do this for Marc Bike Shop. When I first came to Amsterdam, I was scammed into buying a broken down bike so I was afraid to buy a new one. But when I came to this shop, mrs Mildred was very friendly to me, gave me clear instruction with transparent ownership paper and warranty. Best service quality and very lovely owners. Highly recommend.
