 The coffee and pastries tasted fine.. but the contact with the waiter left something to be desired.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gezellig plein in Utrecht met verschillende terrassen en winkels. Leuk voor een biertje of cocktails. Verder staan er wat bankjes en is er een oude waterpomp. De tuin naast het conservatorium is een bezoekje waard.
Cozy square in Utrecht with several terraces and shops. Nice for a beer or cocktails. There are also some benches and there is an old water pump. The garden next to the conservatory is worth a visit.

Aunque se encuentra a poca distancia de los lugares más visitados por los turistas ( el canal, la catedral de Utrecht, etc.), este sitio conserva una impronta local muy interesante. Es un espacio de paz y tranquilidad que es disfrutado por los habitantes de la ciudad. Los negocios que la rodean son muy interesantes y no tan volcados al turismo. muy cerca del jardín botánico.
Mariaplaats square is located in a beautiful neighborhood in the center of the city. Although it is within walking distance of the most visited places by tourists (the canal, Utrecht Cathedral, etc.), this site retains a very interesting local imprint. It is a space of peace and tranquility that is enjoyed by the inhabitants of the city. The businesses that surround it are very interesting and not so focused on tourism. very close to the botanical garden.
