Marickenland is een uniek natuurgebied dat in ontwikkeling is. De weidegrond wordt omgevormd tot rietland, nat schraalland en bloemrijk grasland. Parkeren kan bij de begraafplaats. Vanaf daar kan je het Robert Moultonpad oplopen. Vanaf het pad kan je kijken naar de plas waar een breed schala aan vogels zitten, op dit moment o.a. de stelt(kluut), tureluurs, grutto’s, kemphanen, visdieven en soorten eenden. Op het pad worden ook honden uitgelaten. Vanaf het pad kan je links ook over een bruggetje heen lopen, waar van hout een soort vogelkijkhutje is gemaakt. Verschillende soorten roofvogels, zoals bruinen kiekendief, torenvalk en buizerds kan je hier tegenkomen. Al met al een mooi natuurgebied dat in ontwikkeling is en zeker de moeite waard is om langs het pad te wandelen.

Marickenland is a unique nature reserve that is under development. The pastureland is transformed into reed land, wet arid land and flower-rich grassland. Parking is possible at the cemetery. From there you can walk up the Robert Moultonpad. From the path you can look at the lake where there is a wide range of birds, currently including stilts, redshanks, black-tailed godwits, ruffs, common terns and species of ducks. Dogs are also let out on the trail. From the path you can also walk on the left over a bridge, where a kind of bird watching hut has been made of wood. You can encounter various species of birds of prey, such as Marsh harrier, kestrel and buzzards. All in all, a beautiful nature reserve that is under development and definitely worth a walk along the path.
