M	Marloes Pluk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hadden nooit nagedacht over een geboortefotograaf, totdat we foto's van Marlies tegen kwamen. Wauw! We waren al snel overtuigd dat we de geboortedag van onze zoon vast wilde laten leggen door Marlies. We zijn heel tevreden over de manier van werken van Marlies, ze was deze dag heel rustig aanwezig, maar weet wel alle mooie momenten vast te leggen. We zijn super blij met de foto's en de film die Marlies voor ons gemaakt heeft! Heerlijk om terug te kijken op zo'n bijzondere dag. Een echte aanrader! We never thought about a birth photographer until we came across pictures of Marlies. Wow! We were quickly convinced that we wanted to have the birthday of our son recorded by Marlies. We are very satisfied with Marlies' way of working, she was very quietly present this day, but she knows how to capture all the beautiful moments. We are very happy with the photos and the film that Marlies made for us! Wonderful to look back on such a special day. Highly recommended!
J	Joyce Bonné on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tranen over onze wangen, dat was onze eerste reactie toen we onze beelden terug zagen. Bij het kenningsmakingsgesprek hadden we meteen een vertrouwd gevoel bij Marlies. Eerst mochten wij ons verhaal doen en daarna werd alles goed uitgelegd. Vanwege de Corona pandemie werd het nog spannend of Marlies er bij mocht zijn of niet. Uiteindelijk hebben we een spoed keizersnede gehad en kon Marlies niet bij de geboorte zelf zijn. Maar ondanks dat, missen we helemaal niks in de foto’s. Op de uitslaapkamer kwam Marlies binnen, ze was heel rustig aanwezig en zorgde dat ze zo veel mogelijk in beeld kreeg. Ook toen Lara even weg moest voor een infuus ging Marlies mee. Veel stukken van deze ochtend ben ik vergeten of heb ik niet bewust meegemaakt, en daarom ben ik extra dankbaar dat we deze herinneringen hebben. Ook de eerste momenten van Lara met haar papa zijn vastgelegd. Zo fijn dat zij overal aan denkt. Haar branding is heel erg mooi, de foto’s worden in een prachtig doosje afgeleverd en Lara kreeg een super toepasselijk cadeautje. Ik zou iedereen aanraden om bij Marlies een geboortereportage te boeken. Bedankt Marlies, je bent een lieverd!! Tears down our cheeks, that was our first reaction when we saw our images again. During the introductory meeting, we immediately had a familiar feeling with Marlies. First we were allowed to tell our story and then everything was explained well. Because of the Corona pandemic, it became even more exciting whether Marlies could be there or not. In the end we had an emergency caesarean section and Marlies could not be at the birth herself. But despite that, we don't miss anything in the photos. Marlies entered the recovery room, she was very quietly present and made sure that she got as much picture as possible. Even when Lara had to leave for an IV, Marlies came along. I have forgotten or did not consciously experience many parts of this morning, which is why I am extra grateful that we have these memories. The first moments of Lara with her dad are also recorded. So nice that she thinks about everything. Her branding is very beautiful, the photos are delivered in a beautiful box and Lara received a very appropriate gift. I would advise everyone to book a birth report with Marlies. Thanks Marlies, you are a sweetheart !!
S	Sjoerd Spoel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wij zijn echt maar dan ook echt blij dat we voor geboortefotograaf hebben gekozen en vooral voor Marlies. Ze is echt heel lief en toegankelijk en je kan haar alles vragen. De laatste paar weken nam ze regelmatig contact met ons op om te peilen hoe het gaat. Tijdens de bevalling hebben wij geen “last” gehad van Marlies. In het begin hoor je het klikgeluid van de camera en zie je Marlies hier en daar op en neer lopen, maar op een gegeven moment valt het niet meer op. Daarnaast was Marlies ook heel behulpzaam tijdens en na de bevalling. Na de bevalling hebben we heel snel de eerste paar foto’s ontvangen. Die waren al super mooi. Ondanks het intakegesprek bleef het toch spannend wat het eindresultaat zou zijn. Wij vonden het super bijzonder dat Marlies ook persoonlijk de foto’s kwam brengen. Dat geeft echt extra waarde aan haar service. De foto’s en de fotoreportage waren/zijn zo bijzonder, mooi en waardevol. Onze dochter is nu 7,5 maand oud en nog steeds stromen de tranen over de wangen. Plus hebben we nog een extra service gehad van Marlies wat we niet hadden zijn aankomen. Ze heeft toch haar best gedaan om een stukje te filmen!! Marlies we willen je echt van harte bedanken voor jouw super service en het vast leggen van het mooiste moment in ons leven! Dit hadden we nooit willen missen. We are really but really happy that we have chosen a birth photographer and especially Marlies. She is really sweet and accessible and you can ask her anything. For the past few weeks, she has been in regular contact with us to find out how things are going. During the delivery we had no “problems” from Marlies. In the beginning you hear the clicking sound of the camera and you see Marlies walking up and down here and there, but at a certain point it is no longer noticeable. Marlies was also very helpful during and after the delivery. After the delivery, we received the first few photos very quickly. They were already super beautiful. Despite the intake interview, it was still exciting what the end result would be. We thought it was very special that Marlies also personally brought the photos. That really gives extra value to its service. The photos and the photo report were / are so special, beautiful and valuable. Our daughter is now 7.5 months old and tears are still streaming down her cheeks. Plus we had an extra service from Marlies that we did not arrive. She did her best to film a bit !! Marlies we really want to thank you very much for your super service and for capturing the most beautiful moment in our life! We never wanted to miss this.

Ze is professioneel te werk gegaan en leek haast onzichtbaar aanwezig, op een positieve manier. De foto’s laten onze liefde en kracht zien. Het helpt bij de verwerking van de geboorte en bij het herinneren van dit life-event. The photos show our love and strength. It helps to process the birth and to remember this life event. Vooraf toch een beetje zorgen gemaakt of ik wel goed zou kunnen ontspannen met iemand bij de bevalling maar ik heb nauwelijks gemerkt dat ze er was. Ook na de bevalling heeft ze nog ruim de tijd genomen om foto’s en filmpjes te maken. En de foto’s zijn nog mooier geworden dan ik had durven hopen! Very nice photographer! We immediately had a good feeling with Marlies during the introductory meeting. I was a bit concerned beforehand whether I would be able to relax properly with someone during the delivery, but I hardly noticed that she was there. Even after the birth, she still took plenty of time to take photos and videos. And the photos turned out even more beautiful than I could have hoped!
C	Cynthia Derksen-Ku on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waar we voor de kennismaking nog wat ongemak hadden om een vreemd persoon bij de bevalling te laten zijn, verdween dit gevoel vrijwel direct toen Marlies bij ons aan tafel kwam zitten en het gesprek op gang kwam. Tijdens de bevalling is ze op een hele fijne manier aanwezig, maar tegelijk is ze ook onzichtbaar. In de kamer is ze niet alleen maar aanwezig als fotografe, maar helpt ze ook daar waar nodig is (zonder een ongemakkelijke situatie te creëren). De preview die ze al na enkele dagen stuurde, zorgden bij iedereen voor verbazing. Wat een prachtige beelden die de eerste momenten van onze dochter, maar ook van ons als gezin zo goed weergeven. In woorden hadden we dit nooit kunnen uitleggen en het gezegde klopt: "Eén beeld zegt meer dan duizend woorden." Zo krachtig en puur en vol emotie. Iedereen die de foto's heeft gezien, heeft niet meer dan lof voor de mooie beelden. Dat Marlies de foto's ook in een slideshow heeft verwerkt (wel drie verschillende versies!), is de kers op de taart. Zo (her)beleven we telkens weer onze laatste moment met z'n tweeën en onze eerste momenten met z'n drieën. Marlies, je bent een topper!! Where we had some discomfort before the introduction to let a strange person be at the birth, this feeling disappeared almost immediately when Marlies came to sit at the table with us and the conversation started. She is very present during the delivery, but at the same time she is also invisible. In the room she is not only present as a photographer, but also helps where necessary (without creating an uncomfortable situation). The preview that she sent after just a few days caused a surprise to everyone. What beautiful images that show the first moments of our daughter, but also of us as a family. We could never have explained this in words and the saying is true: "A picture is worth a thousand words." So powerful and pure and full of emotion. Everyone who has seen the photos has nothing but praise for the beautiful images. The fact that Marlies has also incorporated the photos into a slideshow (three different versions!), is the icing on the cake. In this way we (re)experience again and again our last moment with the two of us and our first moments with the three of us. Marlies, you are the best!!
