★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtige oude kerk. Er was een quilttentoonstelling, dus de kerk was open voor bezoek. De kerk wordt nog gebruikt voor reguliere zondagsdienst.
Beautiful old church. There was a quilting exhibition, so the church was open for visitors. The church is still used for regular Sunday service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine urtümliche Kirche mit einem noch urtümlicheren Glockenturm - die Pfahlgründungen auf morastigem Untergrund erlaubten keine hohen Kirchtürme. Noch im 16. Jh. war Sneek durch eine langgezogene Bucht (die dann bald verschlickte) über das Wattenmeer mit der Nordsee verbunden. Klangliches Prachtstück ist die auf Arp Schnitger zurückgehende Barockorgel, auf der regelmäßig Musiken erklingen.
A primeval church with an even more primitive bell tower - the pile foundations on muddy ground did not allow high church towers. In the 16th century, Sneek was still connected to the North Sea over the Wadden Sea by a long bay (which was soon silted up). The sonic gem is the baroque organ, which goes back to Arp Schnitger and which regularly plays music.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Deelgenomen aan kunstbende, ontzettend leuk georganiseerd. Over het gebouw zelf, vele zalen bied veel mogelijkheden om dans, theater, film en meer te presenteren. Vond de stoelen prettig om in te zitten en de kleuren / inrichting van het gebouw erg prettig. Toiletten had ik met geluk gevonden die mogen iets beter aangegeven worden. Geen idee wat de maximum capaciteit is van het gebouw maar voor het evenement kunstbende was dit meer dan geschikt ! Genoten van de ervaring!
Participated in art gang, very nice organized. About the building itself, many halls offer many opportunities to present dance, theater, film and more. The seats were pleasant to sit in and the colors / design of the building very pleasant. Toilets I found with luck that may be indicated slightly better. No idea what the maximum capacity is of the building, but for the art gang event this was more than suitable! Enjoyed the experience!
