★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bread might look fancy but the only thing fancy about it is the price. Taste is non-existent and the crust on their "crusty" loaves is rubbery right off the shelf. Save yourself the money and buy from the nearby supermarket.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to the bakery yesterday afternoon for cake and a juice. We had the best little éclairs. We chose the cassis and the raspberry and they were beautifully tart and exactly how the fruit taste in real life. They were not mean with the fillings either. Absolutely delish. The 2 girls we were served by were so lovely and inviting, a rarity in Dutch customer service. We'll done girls. Keep it up and huge compliments to the baker!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their pastry is OK, and chocolate covered peanuts are delicious, but for some reason they’re very unkind when we speak in English at the store. It’s the bakery closest to us, but I hesitate going there because they’re unpleasant every single time we visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After moving to the neighbourhood, this was our first cafe for regular coffee and bakery products. Their coffee used to be nice but these days it is either a hit or miss. Nevertheless, their bread (esp. sesame) & pastries are the best in the neighbourhood. The staff in the small outlet that only serves bakery products is very courteous. Hence, 4* else for cafe it's 3*.
