Make hummus yourself once and you know that the Maza drab has nothing to do with hummus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Op zich goede hummus, ook is deze sterk aangepast voor de Nederlandse smaak en niet meer authentiek. In het programma Keuringsdienst van Waarde kwam dit ook goed na voren. En hun omschrijving van "volgens authentiek recept" als "ja - dit is ons authentiek recept en niet notabene van waar het product oorspronkelijk vandaan komt" is natuurlijk meer dan misleidend, maar dat gebeurd helaas vaak in de voedselindustrie. Ze beloofden "er wat aan te doen" maar de slogan "volgens authentiek recept" staat er nog steeds op, had dan iemand gedacht dat dit daadwerkelijk aangepast zou worden?
Mijn favorieten zijn Ras en Hanout en Tomaat basilicum. Prima broodbeleg maar de echte hummus maak ik dan toch liever zelf of haal die bij de Turkse speciaalzaak.
In itself good hummus, it is also highly adapted to Dutch taste and no longer authentic. This also came out well in the Keuringsdienst van Waarde program. And their description of "according to authentic recipe" as "yes - this is our authentic recipe and not least where the product originally came from" is of course more than misleading, but unfortunately this often happens in the food industry. They promised "something about it" but the slogan "according to authentic recipe" is still on it, would anyone have thought that this would actually be adjusted?
My favorites are Ras and Hanout and Tomato basil. Great sandwich toppings, but I'd rather make the real hummus myself or get it at the Turkish specialty store.
