Wij raden iedereen aan zover dit mogelijk is om van tevoren telefonisch een bestelling te plaatsen (bel 0651067491). Hygiëne is in deze situatie erg belangrijk voor uw gezondheid en die van onze collega’s. Daarom doen wij een dringend beroep op u om zoveel mogelijk met pin te betalen. Zo beperken we hand-op-hand contact, in lijn met het advies van het RIVM. Als u niet kunt of wilt pinnen, vragen wij u het geld op de toonbank te leggen en het eventuele wisselgeld zelf op te pakken. Uiteraard hebben wij in onze afhaalzaak strenge richtlijnen ten aanzien van hygiëne. Deze gelden nu, net als altijd. Onze collega’s zijn zich hier zeer bewust van en nemen extra maatregelen zoals het nog vaker wassen van handen. Daarnaast hebben wij ook extra voorzorgsmaatregelen getroffen om de gepaste afstand te houden van anderhalve meter tussen u en onze collega’s.
Laten wij begripvol voor elkaar zijn in deze moeilijke tijden want iedereen zit in hetzelfde schuitje. Denk aan elkaar en wij hopen dat u in goede gezondheid zal blijven!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mei Mie is a great take out restaurant located next to the central station of Alkmaar. The focus is more on take out than restaurant so it is very business like and not very inviting from the out or inside. However the Chinese Indonesian food is excellent and they serve large portions for a low price. I've had egg rolls, boemboem bali soup, Foe yong hai chicken, babi pangang en nasi so far and all were rich in taste. My Indonesian wife was also happy with all dishes so far and she's hard to please. She had Suang la tang, Chinese Bami Goreng with Shrimps and Peking Duck with Hoisin saus. I can Defenitely recommend Mei Mi. We will visit more often. Price versus quality is excellent as is the very friendly personnel and the chef! Try it out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh food, tasty and cleanly prepared. Pretty good but nothing overly special, but well prepared and satisfying. Would eat there again EXCEPT when requesting the use of a toilet was told "we have no bathroom for the public...we are a take out restaurant". EXCUSE ME...we just sat at a table and ate our meal of two entrees, soup and tea. Yes tea and soup, which tend to produce a feeling of needing to use a toilet. There were a least 6 tables there if not more which sat 4 to 6 people. So I am estimating room for about 30 people to sit and eat. Even if it's only 20 people there are SIT DOWN AND EAT TABLES. We paid about 25 euros to eat a meal on the premises and are denied the use of a toilet????? I will never eat there again,nor will I recommend it until I hear I can drink some tea and "deposit it" in the same place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved the Chicken Omelette Fried Rice. Ate that twice when I dined there. It was absolutely amazing. To me it was perfect, not too oily, not too salty and the sauce is unique and delicious.
