I've always bought the packaged waffles from the supermarket and had no idea how much better they are when hot and freshly made! You can pick your own base and toppings for the waffles. The service is very friendly. The place is very popular and there can be a long queue as despite the popularity they only have one waffle iron in the shop making the orders, and there is no seating in or outside the little shop.

Only 4-5 customers can fit inside, but this is not a problem as once you order you are on your way probably to the Dam Square where a lot of fun things are happening. Inside the shop, there is one table with two chairs. The staff is super nice, and they make fresh waffles for each customer. You can choose from a lot of toppings, like hazelnuts, marshmallows, fudge, etc. plus white chocolate, dark chocolate, caramel, etc. You should definitely go there and try it.

Taste was good and I enojyed them, however nothing extraordinary compared to some other more traditional ones I had in Amsterdam. But I loved the caramel cubes on top of them.
