Gandhi was iemand die veel waarde hechtte aan wat mensen met hun handen kunnen maken. Hij zag wat die creativiteit met de mens, met zijn lichaam en met zijn geest doet. Hij was niet tegen machines om het lichaam van zware arbeid te ontlasten, maar hij wilde voorkomen dat wij onze prachtige vaardigheden met onze handen, gevoel voor materialen en onze ambachten zouden verliezen en onkundig zouden worden.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I attended two 12 lesson courses with Metal Art Creations. The workshop is fully equipped with anything you need to make exciting and original jewellery (or decorations) - from smelting your own metal to mirror finish polishing. You have the freedom to experiment and choose your own projects (with guidance from an experienced goldsmith) and you can complete them at your own pace. The workshop is a short walk from the station and there are bike racks in front of the building if you would like to cycle instead. There is also a paid parking area for vehicles. I acquired a wealth of knowledge and skills in a short period of time. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. I highly recommend Metal Art Creations for beginners or those more advanced who would like a good space to make metal jewellery or decorations.
