De eerste etappe van Pieterburen naar Vorden. De tweede voert u van Vorden naar de St.-Pietersberg in Zuid-Limburg. De totale lengte is 257 km, verdeeld over 13 kleinere etappes van 15 tot 22 km.
Natuurlijk is het een uitdaging om het Pieterpad in één of twee keer te wandelen. Maar u kunt er ook voor kiezen om de etappes los van elkaar te wandelen, als u er op vakantie bent bijvoorbeeld.Het Pieterpad is het populairste wandelpad van Nederland.
