My experience includes constant negligence and mistakes made, disregard of medical advice given to them from the hospital. Despite all the proofs of their inability to follow a protocol given to them due to risk factor, they are also incapable of recognising their responsibilities and be at least humans. My “case” as they call me is now with legal support and hopefully measures will be implemented in order to protect other women. I trusted them with my first and second pregnancy and it proved that in my first one I was simply lucky. They have put me and my babies in danger.

Je kunt altijd bellen als je met een vraag zit. Ze hebben mij enorm geholpen tijdens mijn zwangerschap! Nice nice ladies who inform you well. Look not only at the growth of the baby but also at what the parents need in terms of information. You can always call if you have a question. They helped me a lot during my pregnancy!

Onze wensen voor de bevalling zijn serieus genomen en uiteindelijk een heel fijne thuisbevalling gehad onder begeleiding van Evelien, een zeer kundige en warme verloskundige. Heel veel dank! Very happy with this midwife! They have always taken the time to answer all questions during the checks. Our wishes for the delivery were taken seriously and in the end we had a very nice home birth under the guidance of Evelien, a very knowledgeable and warm midwife. Thank you very much!

We made several 'birthing plans' but the way the delivery played out was so much better than anything we imagined or even (dared) to hope for. If we decide to have another child, I will gladly be with midwives at the IJ.

During the birth I felt relaxed as I trusted Marcela 100% on what to do/try next. That way both my husband and I could fully focus on/ enjoy the experience itself. If there's a next time, we will definitely come back!

They do thoroughly the timely checkups. I love that that the assistant sends you reminders of all the things and appointments you have planned. Giving birth was therefore comforting and had all the trust having the right support and help. It felt very personal and special, they have that special attention to you. After giving birth I received again a good treatment and advice how to feed my baby and what to do.
