About Molen De Valk
Ooit stonden er 19 windmolens op de wallen van Leiden; daarvan is alleen De Valk nog over. De huidige molen heeft twee voorgangers gehad. In 1611 werd op het Valkenburger bolwerk de standerdmolen "De Valck" gebouwd, die in 1667 plaats moest maken voor een houten stellingmolen.

β β β β β Fun area to hang out and walk around. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby. We didn't enter the museum but there are nice sculptures to look at and the mill is beautiful from the outside.

The Molenmuseum de Valk is clean smells old but the smell is mot bad and ehen you climb till the top you can see all the buildings around pretty view

β β β β β It is quite an interesting experience to get in a windmill and see how it works and how it is decorated. By the way, the ladders could be bothersome for the people with walking problems or for the small kids. Entrance fee is 5 β¬ for adults.

β β β β β Aan absolutely magnificent windmill that has been maintained with the greatest details and care. It's a must-visit for tourists (foreign and domestic) visiting the beautiful city of Leiden.

β β β β β Good place to visit. You will get to see many old ancient objects used during 17th to 18th century. Some nice collection in the museum. And city view from the top is mesmerizing. There are total 7 floors which you can visit.
