★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Deze zogenoemde wipmolen ligt net buiten het dorp Oud-Zuilen. De prachtige molen bestaat sinds 1830, en was werkzaam tot 2016. Dit is de kleinste molen in de provincie Utrecht. Grappig detail is dat hij direct naast de grootste molen van die provincie staat, de Westbroekse Molen. Met een bezoekje slaat men dus twee vliegen in een klap.
This so-called hollow post mill is located just outside the village of Oud-Zuilen. The beautiful windmill has existed since 1830, and was operational until 2016. This is the smallest windmill in the province of Utrecht. A funny detail is that it is located right next to the largest mill in that province, the Westbroekse Molen. A visit therefore kills two birds with one stone.

Deze wipmolen, oorspronkelijk uit 1830 en de kleinste van de provincie, werd in het voorjaar van 2016 door brand zwaar beschadigd: wiekenkruis en bovenhuis waren total loss. In juni 2018 werd de molen weer feestelijk in bedrijf gesteld door prinses Beatrix
Still active polder mill that, together with its large neighbor across the street, produces a classic Dutch picture that more than justifies a detour. This hollow post mill, originally from 1830 and the smallest in the province, was badly damaged by fire in the spring of 2016: the wings and upper house were total loss. In June 2018, the mill was festively put back into operation by Princess Beatrix
