 Stands pontifically above the Hubertus tunnel, which largely passes between the bomb shards under the former Alexander barracks (now International Criminal Court).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very small but important monument. During the German invasion of the Netherlands, this barrack and army base was bombed by the German Luftwaffe. Around 66 soldiers died in the bombardment as well as at least 1 German aircraft, which crashed in the nearby dunes.
