★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Na ophoging van de dijk is het monument voor de groningse zanger Ede Staal een paar honderd meter naar het noord westen verplaatst. De zanger woonde een tijd in Delfzijl en ligt er begraven. De locatie is verbazend goed gekozen. Als je aan komt rijden via de waddenweg is het monument al van verre te zien.
 After raising the dike, the monument to the Groningen singer Ede Staal was moved a few hundred meters to the north-west. The singer lived in Delfzijl for a while and is buried there. The location is surprisingly well chosen. When you arrive via the waddenweg, the monument can be seen from afar.
