A memorial to crew who drowned 50km off the coast on September 22nd, 1914. Left side inscription reads: “De zee geeft noordwijk leven maar toen de wereld brandde legdd zij haar doden beneden u op grenzenloze.” (The sea gives Noordwijk life, but when the world burned, she laid her dead beneath you on boundless.)

Eerste Wereld Oorlogs momument ter nagedachtenis van drie Engelse oorlogsschepen die door een Duitse onderzeeer tot zinken zijn gebracht waarbij maarliefst 1459 levens verloren gingen. 143 van hen liggen begraven op de Algemene Begraafplaats in Noordwijk.
