★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooiste en langste (3,30 km) ONOFFICIELE MTB route in omgeving Amsterdam met tevens de meeste hoogtemeters. Betreft een onofficiële route waarbij je de tracks moet delen met wandelaars: je hebt dus niet het alleenrecht als MTB-er.
Ondanks dat dit een gedoog-route is, is de track goed onderhouden en aangegeven. De route is geheel single-track en rondom de berg redelijk technisch met steile afdalingen.
Je moet wel even goed opletten waar de route vanaf het fietspad start. Eveneens opletten op de 7 Schotse Hooglanders die er grazen. Deze zijn heel tam (je kunt binnen een meter van ze komen zonder dat ze opkijken) maar ze willen wel eens pontificaal op de tracks staan grazen.
Most beautiful and longest (3.30 km) UNOFFICIAL MTB route in the Amsterdam area with the most altimeters. This is an unofficial route where you have to share the tracks with hikers: you do not have the exclusive right as a MTB rider.
Although this is a tolerated route, the track is well maintained and signposted. The route is entirely single-track and around the mountain fairly technical with steep descents.
You have to pay attention to where the route starts from the bike path. Also keep an eye out for the 7 Scottish Highlanders that graze there. These are very tame (you can get within a meter of them without them looking up) but they do like to graze on the tracks pontifically.
