Aan de bar allemaal leuke single mannen met een biertje. Op het terras leek iedereen elkaar te kennen en ik hoorde alleen Fries spreken. Leuk! In de snackbar mocht je geen patat of snacks bestellen, dat moest in de bar. Wat is dit: een restaurant, snackbar, café met terras, wijkcentrum (?) Het antwoord: Het is het gewoon allemaal! Ook een buurthuis en sportzaal dus,voor alle doelgroepen wat wils. De medewerkers achter de bar en in de snackbar liepen van hot naar her, van links naar rechts, van binnen naar buiten. Maar alles kwam wel goed. Het eten, een schnitzel met friet en saus voor €8,50, overdadig gevuld bord en erg smakelijk. Deze plek is meer dan de snackbar die wij zochten. Mooie ontmoetingsplaats en lijkt mij de kern van Oudemirdum. We came here around 6 pm, as tourists in Gaasterland, to eat some chips. And were a bit confused. At the bar all nice single men with a beer. Everyone on the terrace seemed to know each other and I only heard Frisian speaking. Nice! In the snack bar you were not allowed to order fries or snacks, that had to be done in the bar. What is this: a restaurant, snack bar, café with terrace, community center (?) The answer: It's just it all! Also a community center and sports hall, something for all target groups. The employees behind the bar and in the snack bar walked from top to bottom, from left to right, from inside to outside. But everything turned out fine. The food, a schnitzel with fries and sauce for €8.50, lavishly filled plate and very tasty. This place is more than the snack bar we were looking for. Nice meeting place and seems to me the core of Oudemirdum.

De prijzen zijn aantrekkelijk. Coffee wrong could not be made, while there was a nice machine behind the tap ... Very friendly gentleman who served us. Prices are attractive.
