★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Museum de Waag liegt direkt an einem großen Platz mit vielen Restaurants und Cafés. Den Besuch kann man deshalb gut mit einer kleinen Pause in der Innenstadt von Deventer verbinden. Das Museum umfasst eine Sonderausstellung, Kunst aus der Umgebung und die Geschichte der Stadt Deventer. Jedem dieser Themengebiete ist eine Etage gewidmet.
Im Bereich mit der Geschichte hat uns besonders die Multi-Media Erklärung zu einem Gemälde mit der Belagerung Deventers im 80-jährigen Krieg gefallen. Der zeitliche Ablauf der Belagerung wurde mit den jeweiligen Bildausschnitten erläutert.
 The Museum de Waag is located directly on a large square with many restaurants and cafés. The visit can therefore be easily combined with a short break in the city center of Deventer. The museum includes a special exhibition, local art and the history of the city of Deventer. One floor is dedicated to each of these topics.
In the history section, we particularly liked the multi-media explanation of a painting depicting the siege of Deventer during the 80-year war. The timing of the siege was explained with the respective image sections.
