★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely location, great historic building in beautiful well established gardens brutalised for parking and part of an extension. The exhibitions are well put together, plenty of staff whom are mostly volunteers. The building oozes local history which is, in my view, as exciting as the exhibition space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely museum! It is not too big - you can see it in about an hour. There are exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. The building itself consists of an original house and a new wing - both are beautiful, as well as the gardens surrounding the museum.
There’s a very good museum shop with gifts, books and cards. The café is lovely and serves lunch and sweets. Space to put away coats, free lockers and toilets.

Prices are okay and the whole Setup of this Museum is worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice place to visit while in Bergen NH. There is always a temporary art exposition and a permanent part amongst others in the beautiful art garden. There is also a small cafe where you can drink and eat a bit while enjoying the garden teras. Their "ruine steentjes" cake is worth the detour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful museum with contemporairy art and paintings from the"Bergensche School". Beautiful garden with interesting statues. Absolutely worth a visit. Free parking and a great museum shop where you can by real art, paintings, pictures etc.
