β β β β β The very concept of museum for dead pets?! I was reminded of my dog and I leave the place overwhelmed with grief. Not for me, may be for people to see a point

β β β β β This was cool. Very small museum dedicated to looking at funeral rituals in the Netherlands. Sensitively handled. Peaceful setting. Nice cafe.

β β β β β An interesting visit, with a nice cafΓ©. The museum is small, there is an available Dutch only audio guide. Most displays have English and Dutch notes, but some don't. Admission is covered by the Museumkaart. If you've made the effort to get here, be sure to go for a walk in the cemetery on the grounds. Lots of interesting grave markers, from the plain and humble to the ostentatious.

β β β β β A small museum but with very deep subject matter. It features exhibits on how Dutch society approaches death. Just like the Dutch themselves it handles the issue with pragmatism, seeing it for what it is: important, deserving of respect but ultimately administrative and zero excessive sentimentality. If you're on your first visit to Amsterdam I would go and see the more famous museums of the Dutch co-capital before you head to Museum Tot Zover but perhaps if you have already done the other major museums and you have an afternoon free, your time would be well spent here.

β β β β β It is a very small museum but very informative with a lot of artifacts. Afterwards we walked around the cemetery it was a very beautiful experience. If you are into the afterlife process this is a great place to visit.

β β β β β The painting in the hall is very depressive. Arrangement is smooth but we had to walk out without jackets to the drink room after the ceremony in cold.

β β β β β A small museum about funeral tradition for different religion. Itβs hidden behind the cafe, and you need to enter through the cafe.
