★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful site, something that you really have to do to get they authentic expirence of the Netherlands. We visited from our trip from Rotterdam into Belgium and France and the boat tour down the river was the perfect way to break up the drive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful place where you must ride a bike to explore. But the so-called “musuems” were really dumb that you just see boring history and people pretending to act-like they live here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place to visit and to be able to wander up to and into some windmills and to see the restoration project in progress. Great opportunity to witness life in a windmill and especially when the sails are turning. The new heritage centre looks superb so hope to return whrn this is complete. Definitely a place I highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The museums were a neat journey back in time. This particular windmill was okay. The museum on the other side of the canal (it's not tagged yet on Google Maps) is more interesting if you need to choose one or the either. This one does have two pet goats though.
