★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a really special place. You arrive in an idyllic location, surrounded by beautiful nature, forest and green everywhere.
We ate inside because of the weather but that was actually nice because of the open kitchen where you can see the chef passionately preparing his dishes. As we're vegetarian they brought us a delicious mix of improvised starters which weren't really on the menu, so we appreciated that! Pasta was really good as well, plus a nice choice of wines and the home made chocolate cake was a winner.
Really cool relaxed atmosphere, it's a bit like being at home and you can really see they use fresh products (the chef was making the pasta in front of us!!) and they enjoy running this place.
Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprising oasis of food delight in the heart of the woods of Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Cosy small villa, where they serve you a menu of Spanish tapas. I highly recommend the lunch menu. If you are there as a duo, you can order all 6 dishes for a highly affordable price. Taste was ranging from just good to fantastic. If the weather is good, you can sit in the garden under the roof of massive trees. Natural umbrellas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every time I have the chance to go to Nassau Zuylestein is it a real pleasure. Chef Carlos gives a special Italian touch to his dishes. Everything is fresh and in season. You can really enjoy a genuine and organic taste.
Also the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and after the renovations is even nicer to have lunch there. I highly recommend a visit.
