NativeTravel heeft alles meer dan super geregeld en onze chauffeur Anish wist ons telkens weer te verrassen, niets was hem teveel. Van te voren vonden we het wel wat spannend in verband met de corona maar Maaike van NativeTravel heeft ons gladjes door alle procedures heen geloodst. We voelden ons eigenlijk juist heel veilig in Sri Lanka. Onze chauffeur was al helemaal gevaccineerd en je zit in een soort bubbel door de hotel levels. We hadden van vrienden al gehoord dat Sri Lanka mooi is maar de reis heeft onze verwachtingen ruim overtroffen. De stranden vonden we heerlijk, alleen waren de golven op sommige plekken wat te wild om te zwemmen. En er is ongelooflijk veel variatie in de prachtige natuur. We hebben gewandeld in de Knuckels, super safari's in Gal Oya, met de trein door de bergen en theeplantages gegaan, de dames een kookworkshop bij een lief gezin thuis gehad, mijn schoonzoons hebben gesurft bij Arugam bij de Indische Oceaan, we vonden Galle ook een heel mooi gezellig stadje en de wandeltocht door de backstreets van Colombo was een hele leuke extra verrassing. NativeTravel, bedankt voor deze mooie reis! Ook namens Sylvia, Fabienne, Mariska, Mark en Toine! We are back home after a delightful tour of Sri Lanka. NativeTravel has arranged everything more than super and our driver Anish always managed to surprise us, nothing was too much for him. We thought it was a bit exciting in advance due to the corona, but Maaike from NativeTravel guided us smoothly through all procedures. We actually felt very safe in Sri Lanka. Our driver was already fully vaccinated and you are in a kind of bubble through the hotel levels. We had already heard from friends that Sri Lanka is beautiful, but the trip far exceeded our expectations. We loved the beaches, only the waves were a bit too wild for swimming in some places. We've hiked the Knuckels, super safaris in Gal Oya, took the train through the mountains and tea plantations, the ladies had a cooking workshop with a lovely family at home, my sons-in-law surfed at Arugam by the Indian Ocean, we found Galle too very nice cozy town and the walking tour through the backstreets of Colombo was a very nice extra surprise.
