★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They show the movies that you can't find at other cinemas so that is a big plus but the chairs are old and uncomfortable that makes it difficult to sit for 2 hrs. They also don't sell popcorns.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was excited about visiting the NatLab (="natuurkundig laboratorium"), the former research division of Philips. Cool building from 1923. It's here where van der Pol and Casimir discovered the eponymous oscillator and effect, respectively. Not to mention the many experimental discoveries, from sodium lamps (still used in street lighting) to better lithography techniques. The place now has a arthouse movie theater and a restaurant and bar. Both very nice!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place and memorable movies. I particularly love the “buiten film” season. Great weather, nice films outside. Perfect place to spend time on evenings in summer. The restaurant is also very good. Delicious food. Definitely recommended.
