G	Gitta de Ridder on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful campsite surrounded by greenery and the exciting activities of 'de Kemphaan' so no need to get bored as there's 'country-side' walks, restaurants, monkey's, Almere Jungle and more nearby. The people running the campsite are friendly and welcoming and toilets and showers are well kept. On some days depending on the wind direction one can hear the traffic of the nearing roads but it's never overpowering and it feels like a calm retreat nonetheless. High on my list of places to come back to.

Plus: - nice owner, kind and helpful - comparably good pricing (19€) - comfy place with good/private spots for tent or caravan - swing in the trees - Tipi to hang out in - good (7 Minute with chips for free) shower - all you need for cleaning stuff - lost and found / give away for free - little herb-garden - big playground - fire pit - big nature park around - small shop for all you might have forgotten - including cold beer! Minus: - depending on the wind you cold hear the highway - like everywhere- if the other campers are loud, they are loud - cleaning and loud tree cutting around 8.45 am
