Top locatie en heerlijke vrijheid

Heerlijke camping, basic maar toch in stijl. Ontbijt in de ochtend maakt het helemaal af.

Mooie rustige camping op landgoed twistvliet. Plaatsen zijn ruim, eigenaren relaxed. Mooie omgeving ook. Aanrader

Ruime natuur camping met ruime plaatsen. Vlak bij het strand en Vrouwen polder. Klein dorpje met een paar leuke restaurants en een supermarkt.

Het is een prachtig terrein, groot en best veel ruimte op je plek. Alleen,,,,, euro 55,- per nacht voor een camperplaats is behoorlijk aan de prijs. Daarnaast wordt getolereerd dat jongere camping gasten harde house beat draaien, weg natuurcamping gevoel. Er zijn vast voldoende alternatieven in de omgeving.

Lovely place to camp for sure! but... it was adverted as a nature camping and a 30 campsites maximum (in real had over 50). Tractors driving through the main camp dirt road, or working near our campsite in the early morning and late evening, having full lights on was not ideal. It is also a wedding location, which causes noise. You have to like that, it was no problem to us because we stood away from it, but you can hear it. Maybe for me the worst (next to unhealthy bonfires), the sanitary. Lights were not working in the toilet and showers. This was the case our vacation long and with no repair attempts that I could see. Four showers for the women and 6 for the men on 50 campsites is not much. Capacity of hot water was problematic. I had nearly every day a shower in dripping mode, with poor warm water. The camp site has a non secured 24h open route via the Noorddijk. This can be handy, but apparel driving in and out are disturbing as well. Although the campsites are big, a 55 euro per night for a "nature camping", which in my eyes it is not, is a relatively high price. On top, I like bonfires really much. But the bonfire area in the middle had painted woods and plastic material on a heap. I expected the camping personnel to clean that. The kids around making bonfires threw plastic and painted woods in the bonfire. I find that very disturbing and irresponsible of the camping. Now it seems like a bad place to camp.That is not true either, we had a very nice holiday here. I hope the camp owner / team will take the bike instead of another petrol filled device and will use this information to make the camping better, because it really is a pearl! And than it can be a real nature camping. I gave it one star because in my eyes the advert was misleading, it is no nature camping. But we truely had a great time.

We had a lovely stay in April 2x it was relaxed not cheap but still reasonably priced at 25€. Guess our surprise that in the Pentecostal (Pinksteren) weekend the price went to 55€!!! per night. That really is not proportional for a relatively basic campground(what we love).. unless pricing becomes more reasonable and aligned with the experience we will not return..
