★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heerlijke plekje om op het terras te vertoeven! Vooral de lunch met het vloerdesem brood is een aanrader! Ik had de versie gezond (lekker op smaak gebracht met truffel mayonaise) en mijn vrouw had de variant met carpaccio. Beide waren heerlijk. Het appeltaarten kunnen we niet aanbevelen. Deze is wel heel erg klein, geserveerd op een nog kleiner bordje. Totaal 0 moeite gedaan er iets van te maken qua servering. Wel lekkere smaak trouwens.
 Wonderful place to relax on the terrace! The lunch with the sourdough bread is especially recommended! I had the healthy version (nicely flavored with truffle mayonnaise) and my wife had the variant with carpaccio. Both were delicious. We cannot recommend the apple pie. This one is very small, served on an even smaller plate. Total 0 effort to make something of it in terms of serving. Nice taste by the way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuke uitval basis om te eindigen of te beginnen met een mooie wandel tocht door de bossen. Jammer door de lockdown nu niet binnen zitten maar de afhaal is top geregeld.
Nice base to end or start with a nice walking tour through the woods. Too bad because of the lockdown, we can't sit inside now, but the takeaway is great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped by at Groot Speijck before heading for walk in the forest. At first glance we already like the ambience inside the restaurant. Enough Light and yet not too much, gives very cozy feeling. I bet it feels great in autumn and winter as well. We head to outside seating, and find it really comfy. Seating are placed not too close to each other and have more room to enjoy the forest outside. Food choices are simple and great. Staff are very friendly and helpful, one staff approached my daughter and let her release a butterfly he caught earlier. She loved the man's beard instead ?
