β β β β β Wow, so beautiful the ice sculptures, impressive! It is cold, really cold (-10 to - 12 degrees celsius) so advice to wear warm clothes and gloves, but if you can take a second chance to walk by take it; second time we were better prepared on the cold, stayed inside longer and saw more and more details then first time.
Few minor points: The entry was not so clear to find and when going out sort of forced along the catering not so nice, but that is in lot of places and you can still decide not to buy anything.

β β β β β It is a nice exposition with great sculptures. The maximum number of visitors per hour is certainly a good idea. The catering options however are very poor: both the quality and the prices of the food and drinks are not acceptable.

β β β β β A bit of a wait for about half an hour of entertainment. Very nice outing. Nice to visit but won't fill an entire day so combine it with something else.

β β β β β Good place to visit - sculptures are awesome: quality, size, composition, variety, spacious parking (you'll pay 6 euro for however long you stay).
It's very cold there, obviously... and that wouldn't be a problem but with enormous number of people that are allowed to be contemporary inside - 90% of the time you just waddle in a queue dreaming about a warm place.

β β β β β This place was magically beautiful. We really enjoyed it. Portraying history through pure art. I just have a few suggestions: It would be so nice if the information provided about the festival had also an English version, because I am sure that so many people would love to see the festival and using English would be appreciated. Another thing is that It would be so nice if we could be informed about the temperature of the place, so that every one can be properly dressed and bring gloves or hats.

β β β β β We saw the IJsbeelden event on an NS promotion and decided to make Zwolle our next weekender. We liked the Leonardo collection and the Cleopatra set was amazing but the stand-out craftsmanship was the Sabre Tooth Tiger. Congrats on a great exhibition.
