Practice safety as you go along here at high water the big vessels and small ones going fast can create a big swell coming towards you so be prepared for wet feet or possibly a wave in the face if it is lively out at sea. I would personally have some type of flotation safety device walking to the end especially for children. The current can be very strong there near the end.
