Het is een aanrader om hier een plekje bij het water te zoeken om uit te rusten dit gebied zit vol vogels en andere dieren die je er kunt spotten. Zeker een aanrader als je in de buurt bent en fietsen worden aangeraden het is anders een hele tocht om te lopen.
Very nice place very different from the rest of the Netherlands. It is recommended to find a spot by the water here to rest this area is full of birds and other animals that you can spot. Definitely recommended if you are in the area and bicycles are recommended otherwise it is quite a walk to walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schitterend en groot natuurgebied zo dichtbij de drukte: vennetjes, bosjes en duindoornstruwelen waar in het voorjaar zeker en vast nachtegalen zingen, een steeds wisselende uitgestrektheid, met in de verte de eeuwigruisende branding van de Noordzee (en voor wie het wil zien: de Hoogovens, en boven je vliegtuigen op zoek naar een landingsbaan).
Beautiful and large nature reserve so close to the hustle and bustle: fens, bushes and sea buckthorn thickets where nightingales certainly sing in spring, an ever-changing expanse, with the ever-roaring surf of the North Sea in the distance (and for those who want to see it: the Hoogovens, and above your planes looking for a runway).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooi gebied voor vooral wandelen door het duinenlandschap. Fiets (beperkt) en auto (niet) worden geweerd, lekker rustig. Vergeet niet je duinkaart te kopen voor toegang.
Beautiful area, especially for walking through the dune landscape. Bicycle (limited) and car (not) are banned, nice and quiet. Don't forget to buy your dune ticket for access.
