★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dit is een prachtig bos. Bijzonder is dat het één van de oudste stukjes bos in Nederland is. Helaas ouds het erg klein: je loopt er zo doorheen. Bovendien wordt het doorsneden door een weg. Dichtbij en via een karrenspoor te bereiken is hunebed D2. Ook het mooie dorpje Norg is makkelijk te voet te bereiken.
This is a beautiful forest. Special is that it is one of the oldest pieces of forest in the Netherlands. Unfortunately it used to be very small: you can walk right through it. In addition, it is intersected by a road. Hunebed D2 is close by and accessible via a cart track. The beautiful village of Norg is also easy to reach on foot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hebben de norger esdorperlandschap wandelroute gelopen. Hele leuke route veel afwisseling. Neem wel een verrekijker mee ideaal voor vogel spotten.
Begin en eindpunt bij en heel fijn café kan met heerlijke huisgemaakte taarten.
Have walked the Norger Esdorper Landscape walking route. Very nice route lots of variety. Bring binoculars ideal for bird watching.
Start and end point at a very nice cafe with delicious homemade cakes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very beautiful little forest. We loved to take a short stroll and take in what has been here for centuries. The only down side is that it's so small. And close to a road. Other than that, visit when already in the neighborhood or in need of very-old-tree hugging :)
